Happy Easter

If you know my kiddos, then you know Easter is like Christmas in our house. In fact, it’s my son Nathan’s favorite holiday. He’s been telling me how excited he is to color eggs on a daily basis for several months now. So when we started coloring our second batch, I made sure to get the camera and grab a few shots of all the action. I’m a little embarrassed because I don’t think I’ve taken photos of them since fall. Nolan loved using the stencils. We always leave a note and snack out for the Easter bunny before bed; told you it’s like Christmas! Nathan of course, can’t wait to see what the Easter bunny writes back to him and leaves behind.

Howard Family Summer Fun

Looking back, I haven’t been the best at posting personal things on the blog. So I thought would go ahead and share a little of what we’ve been up to this summer. Lately, we have been active with photo shoots, capturing parties and lots of wedding bookings. But with my oldest son Nathan being out of school for the summer, it was a great chance to get out of town and escape the scorching heat. We have lots of trips planned over the next few weeks in Northern Arizona and recently spent our first vacation in Oak Creek and Flagstaff. For the few days we were there, it was cool, cloudy and rainy – a drastic change from Phoenix. It was wonderful getting to spend time outside and not having to lather the kiddos in sunscreen!

The kids loved trying to catch anything that swam in the creek or flew around them. Nathan even managed to catch several dragon flies but the only thing Nolan caught were orange rocks!
